Director of Enrollment & Advancement
Saint Patrick School, accredited by AdvancED, is a co-educational, parochial elementary school includes preschool through eighth grade. We have been nationally recognized as a United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School, AdvancED STEM Certified School and a Diocese of Paterson Star School. With several options for preschoolers and full day kindergarten, our students embark on a challenging academic journey that affords them the security of a familiar community during their formative years.
The Director of Enrollment and Advancement reports to the principal and is responsible for the planning, management, implementation and evaluation of the enrollment management (retention and recruitment) and advancement (development) efforts at Saint Patrick School. The Director is responsible for:
ENROLLMENT: Planning, managing and executing school marketing efforts designed to recruit and retain students. The activities could include but are not limited to: Open houses;Campus visits, tours, shadows; Management of re-registration; Print and social media; and managing all data associated with enrollment (goal setting, building plans to meet those goals, effectively using volunteers, understanding retention rates and the impact of those on setting recruitment goals, understanding the financial implications associated with enrollment, etc.)
ADVANCEMENT: Responsible for planning, developing and executing all development activities; Work closely to coordinate overall fundraising in the school with Home and School Association, Alumni Association, Athletic Association, etc; Plan, manage and implement a targeted, segmented annual appeal; and Build on those efforts to develop a major gift effort.
The Director reports to and works closely on a daily basis with the principal. He/she is responsible for constituent relations, engaging volunteers when needed, working with thEducation Council and pastor(s), managing data, generating reports and analyzing data to make decisions.Previous experience in enrollment development, marketing, sales or another “people person” type of position strongly preferred. The Director must support the mission of Saint Patrick School and Catholic education in general. Should be a self-starter, entrepreneurial and creative while being an excellent and engaged team player. The candidate must have outstanding communication skills across a range of constituents. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
