The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Paterson is proud to announce that All Saints Academy in Parsippany, St Anthony School in Hawthorne, and St. Catherine of Bologna School in Ringwood, have been awarded STEM Certification by AdvanED, a nationally recognized accreditation agency, on March 2, 2016. This recognition has been the culmination of five years of dedication and commitment to the work of STEM education at All Saints Academy, St. Anthony School and St. Catherine of Bologna School. Mary Baier, Superintendant of Schools remarked that "Our schools are the first Catholic schools in the north region to earn this designation and the first Catholic elementary schools in the United States to earn the certification. Administration, faculty, staff, students, and the school community should be applauded for their untiring efforts, discipline, and drive to make their school one of academic excellence, so characteristic of the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Schools."
